If you want to spend 8 weeks in South Korea, apply for the UNESCO Wonju Literature Residency Program 2025. The applications for the UNESCO Wonju Literature Residency Program are now open. This is a Fully Funded Residency Program, and it will be taking place in Wonju, South Korea. The time of the UNESCO program is 8 weeks. The UNESCO Wonju Program will start from the 1^st September to 31^st October 2025. The purpose of this program in South Korea is to invite writers, literature connected to the cities that will make up the Cities of Literature. Almost 16 or 19 writers and artists will stay at the Toji Cultural Centre. No application fees required for this program. Eligibility Criteria of the UNESCO Wonju Program:

No compulsory requirements for candidates during their stay
Participants are required to have B2 English proficiency for communication during the residency program
An independent panel from Toji Cultural Centre will choose the resident
Selected candidates will be notified by 30^th July, 2025
