AAUW International Fellowship 2026, Study in the USA and Globally

AAUW International Fellowship 2026 is an International Fellowship program. Applications are now open for the fully funded fellowship for women in 2026. The American Association of University Women (AAUW) sponsors this scholarship program, which is designed for women who are not U.S. citizens to pursue full-time Master’s and PhD Degrees in the United States. Also, AAUW is offering five awards to women who are members of Graduate Women International (list of GWI affiliates) to complete their degree in any country except their own. The purpose of this program is to educate women and enhance global equity for them. It is an International Fellowship for graduate studies USA. Financial Benefits of the AAUW International Fellowship:

Master’s or First Professional Degree: $20,000
Doctoral Program: $25,000
Post Doctoral Research: $50,000
You can use this funding for:
Living expense
Educational expenses
Dependent child care
Travel to professional meetings, seminars, or conferences, not more than 10% of the total fellowship amount

Renewal Condition:

Up to five students can renew their fellowship for a second year Master’s/first professional degree, especially those with highly rated first-year students admitted to a two-year Master’s program.

Fields of Study:

Master’s: Intended at J.D., M.F.A., L.L.M., M. Arch., or medical degrees such as M.D., D.D.S., etc. Certificates, associate degrees, and undergraduate degrees are ineligible.
PhD Fellowships: Intended for Research degrees, such as Ph.D. or Ed.D.
Postdoctoral Fellowships: Applicants should have proof of their doctorate; hold a doctorate classified as a research degree (e.g., Ph.D., Ed.D., D.B.A., D.M.) or an M.F.A. by the application deadline; and indicate where they will conduct their research.

Eligibility Criteria:

Must be a woman or identify as a woman
Must have a bachelor’s degree equivalent to a US degree with a 3.5 CGPA for a Master’s degree
Should be admitted or enrolled in their first master’s or professional doctorate program (MS, MA, MBA, PhD, JD, MD)
Fully time study in the US at a US Department of Education-accredited institution
If you are studying in a country other than your own or the U.S., you should be a member of Graduate Women International and attend a school eligible for US federal student aid
